BIDDERS/MEMBERS
The first time you place a bid on our Site, you will
be required to fill an online form on the Bidding
Page which, while placing your bid, simultaneously
registers you as a member of Cafedreams.com. The information
that you are required to furnish in the online form
includes your name, e-mail address, mailing address
and telephone number. This information will not be
disclosed by us to any third party without your prior
consent, unless: (a) you are a winning bidder and
the celebrity whose Item you have bought requests
to know your identity; or (b) you have committed or
are suspected to have committed a fraud or other illegal
activity in connection with your use of this Site
or have breached or are suspected to have breached
the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this
Site, and investigative or legal action is being initiated
against you; or (c) we are requested or compelled
by the government, law enforcement officials or the
courts for any reason.
If
you bid for an Item and have chosen to pay by cash
on delivery, cheque, bank draft or pay order in the
event of winning the auction, we may telephone you
to confirm your identity and your bid, before accepting
and listing the bid on the Site. Please cooperate
with us on this, as it is important for us to protect
our auction process for the benefit of all our Users.
Cafedreams.com
will automatically send an e-mail message to you whenever:
(a) you bid and the bid is either listed or rejected;
(b) you have been outbid by somebody else; (c) your
bid has won.
We
have the right to advertise and publicize the name
and the city/country of domicile of winning bidders.
However, you can revoke our right to identify your
name by indicating this in the provided field in the
online form that you fill when you register as a member
of Cafedreams.com at the time you place your first
bid on the Site.
If
you wish to edit or update any of the information
in your membership account, or if you wish to change
your password, or if you wish to close your account
- you may do any of this at any time by clicking on
the Edit Account/Change Password icon which is on
most pages of the Site. You must promptly update your
account information if it changes or needs correction.
You must not disclose your password to any third party.
We would advise you to change your password regularly.
If you suspect or believe that your password has been
compromised, please change your password and contact
us immediately. Members are solely and fully responsible
and liable for all bids placed and/or purchases made
through their account.
CELEBRITY
SELLERS
The buyer of your Item will know your address since
this is stated in the Authentication and Agreement
Certificate that you sign for every Item that you
place on auction, a copy of which goes to the buyer
of your Item. However, without your prior consent,
Cafedreams.com will not reveal any of your other contact
details to the buyer of your Item, nor will Cafedreams.com
reveal any of your contact details (including your
address) to any other third party. The privacy and
security of our celebrity sellers is an important
consideration for us at Cafedreams.com.
E-MAIL
UPDATES
If you have signed up to be on our e-mailing list,
you will receive an e-mail every fortnight from us
updating you on current and forthcoming hot auctions,
celebrity wallpapers, online chats with celebrities
and dream contests at Cafedreams.com. If you would
like to be removed from our e-mailing list, click
on the Edit Account/Change Password icon, which is
on most pages of the Site, and follow directions.
GENERAL
COMMUNICATIONS
