This creamish beige, satin evening gown is owned by Maharani Gayatri Devi of Jaipur. The gown was designed in France in the early 1960s by Sumair of Paris. It has intricate pure silver embroidery (zardozi) with glass kundans and imitation pearls.

This extremely beautiful and elegant gown was worn by India's most famous royal for two or three polo parties hosted by the British Royal family at Windsor Castle in the 1960s. At the time, Maharani Gayatri Devi was considered one of the world's most beautiful women.
